Midweek nights out in Cork, Wed or Thurs?

Hi, Wondering which midweek night is generally the best for nightlife in the city? Is thursday usually the big night? Where would be the best late bars/clubs to go for say late 20s age band? Not into any sort of niche music genres really, just mainstream.

Thursday is more lively. Crane Lane would be a fairly busy spot with a wide enough age range.
