Any help or information on getting my kids places in schools in Balbriggan would be a great help. We are moving from Limerick due to my husband and his job. I have to say that it is stressful getting any feedback except that there is a waiting list? Surely you have to give a place to a child by law. As it is against the law for the child not to be in school. I have applied for every single school both primary school and secondary.
It's June now and no answers. Hopefully we will be lucky come August.
    ALL IDEAS WELCOME PLEASE

ring the schools and ask them?
    Is it for Junior Infants?
Children are entitled to a school place but not in the school of choice.

Unfortunately, many parents put children down for several schools and some don't let the schools know if they will actually take up the place, so the school may end up with spaces ,but wouldn't know until late August, if not Sept.
