    Hi,
Has anyone bought ready made blinds and trimmed them? If so, how did it turn out? I saw these in Harry corry and would love some new blinds :)http://www.harrycorry.com/blackout-roller-blinds we have just bought our house and the blinds are 17 years old
    Thanks a million.

You might find similar cheaper in ARGOS - worth looking. You'll need a hacksaw and a sharp blade, my advice is to cut through the blind whilst it's on the metal pole in order to get it all cut straight. You'll need the hacksaw for the pole. Handy enough to cut and fit though.

I wonder would it be cheaper to get my blinds recovered?

I just got a guy out yesterday to measure and quote for my whole house to be done, its €430 which was a lot cheaper then I thought it would be, its eight windows in total. I know they are good blinds as its the same people who did the blinds in my old house and I had them for years and left them for the tenants.

They are based in Collon in Meath but will travel to Dublin. Just google Collon Blinds. I cant wait to get mine done now the blinds that are in the house we bought are awful! Just went for straight across blinds this time but he does lovely scalloped edge too, I got them in the old house but just saw a few straight across ones lately that I thought looked lovely and modern.
