Joel gets on my nerves, Jade gets on my nerves, Aaron wines too much, Chris gets a raw deal, Harriet is getting on my nerves, Danny doesn't really do much, Nick is a numpty and I forgot the names of the rest.

Oh Sarah not sure yet, Eileen not really my cup of tea and what's the name of the guy with the high pitched voice that really winds me up. Jack is getting way too upset over food.

So far I don't see a winner in there.

There's no one I really dislike, but no one that's "up there" with me either.

Next, IMO, to be up for eviction - Jade, the Twins, Joel and possibly Nick.

If there's tactical voting, they may try to get Jack out.

I'd like to see Eileen win.

Is the general opinion of Joel that viewers dislike him?

I kinda like him too! haha

Danny crying to Jade 'I feel like when I walk into a room everyone is talking about me'.

What on earth was that about?

I think that was probably triggered by the debate and what Sarah said about him in it. He just choked when she said that about false tan and makeup.

I'm on the fence with him but something about him reminds me of an old man that irons his socks! I feel like he might become one of those types of eccentric men when he's older!

Have to be honest it makes me uncomfortable. Eileen has it figured out. I think Jade is used to receiving (or feels entitled to) a certain amount of attention, wasn't getting it in the house, knows Nick fancies her and drew him in so she'd feel less isolated and gained herself a little lapdog in the process. There's a lot of physical comfort going on there too, which is a somewhat understandable craving, but they're carrying on as though neither of them have had physical human contact in months. I started out feeling ambivalent toward her but now I just think she's completely full of shit.

I'm not sure if people on this thread are naïve or if this is the first time they are looking at BB. BB stopped being a reality show after season 1, after that the innocence and rawness was lost and more often then not people enter the house to play up to the cameras to get as much air time as possible and have a "career" after the show. This is a prime example, Jade is using him, she realises she has a short shelf like on the show and is try to maximise her air time.

Maybe it is naivety, and I actually haven't watched a season of BB since 2002 (the only reason I remember the year is because I was doing the Leaving at the time :D). If getting more airtime is the reason behind Jade's using of Nick, then it's absolutely working. Last night's episode was full of clips of the two of them all over each other, and of the other housemates pointing it out and talking about it.

I think the whole jade and nick thing is probably a bit of both, looking for air time and comfort and ego.

Each of the housemates goes in with an idea of them self's or the character they are going to be in the house but they get in and then they realise that they might not fit the role they perceived or gave them self going in.

Jade went in thinking that she was going to be the interesting sexy beautiful and open minded one. The two top males Danny and Christian are not interested. She was knocked out by Sarah. So she had a while where she was put out of place and didn't know where to fit.

Nick showed the interest in her that the other top males didn't so she's now latched onto that role. She changed her story, to keep face and to prove to herself and the public that she is the open minded desirable one still.

    something like that :)

What the hell is wrong with sour-faced Sarah?
She was totally in the wrong last night, saying to Harriet that Christian started the row.
SHE is the snidiest, snappiest housemate in there.
Going around with a snarl permanently etched on her face, waiting for someone to start a row.
    Cannot stand the girl.

Jade and Nick's friendship seems bizarre to me but I can't pinpoint why.

I liked Jack at the start, but the jealousy and bitterness, the moaning and whining over food is really annoying me now.
And he's the image of the boy from Up :D

The best thing so far about Jade and Nick's "relationship" is that he is twitching less and his hands appear to be located on Jade as opposed to where they usually were, which was up one of his nostrils :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,826 ✭✭✭fussyonion

Notice how Nick's always covering his mouth when he talks?
Marcus Bentley said (in the narrative bit when each housemate enters the house) that he brushes his teeth ten times a day.
I reckon he has bad breath.

Oh no I preferred the twitching! At one stage last night they were lying on the sofa and he was holding her hand and kissed it and neither of them acknowledged it. The kiss was really lusty (ha if that's a word), awkward and she just turned a blind eye! It kind of repulsed me !

Ahh the real jade is here. Her attitude is as minging as her face

Jade "ahhh heeer I'm ready 4 De fite en all"

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,077 ✭✭✭Saralee4

As much as I don't like the relationship between jade and nick, nick has handled being caught out talking about noms badly by putting all the blame on jade. He weakly went along with her but he still had a choice so he shouldn't hide behind the "I'm young" , "I'm being manipulated" act!

I feel a little sorry for Jade, I don't particularly like her but it's not nice to see anyone ostracised like that. I also think some of the comments in this thread like 'her personality is as ugly as her face' is childish and unnecessary. Her appearance has nothing to do with anything.

I don't think she led Nick on. I genuinely think Nick is the only person who she felt a connection with. They were both flirting, he is 19, he's not 12. He is an adult who can make decisions for himself. It takes two to tango yet the whole house (apart from Sarah, Kieran and Danny) seem to be siding with Nick? A bit bizarre.

Having said all that, she is handling this badly.

It's very uncomfortable watching anyone been excluded.

B's, she went in thinking she was the bees knees. She very soon found out she was way down the hot lady list.

She was on the side line as far as the men were considered, she then went for a 19yr old that she said had no feelings for. And she also said she would never be with.

Yet she is doing it for airtime!

I reckon Jade's a goner this week. There's no way she'll escape being nominated. She's played a really stupid game, segregating herself with Nick so much.

Eileen is another one who annoys me no end. If I was living with her, I reckon she'd drive me mad. She's just so all over the place and Kieren meant no malice at all, so her taking offence to such an innocuous comment was just silly. I don't know, there's just something so...awkward about her.

Tonight's show was good, jade(d) is turning out to be nasty Nick reincarnated.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 525 ✭✭✭Halo Kitty

Jade certainly got her air time and I feel she will be evicted this week because of how she has come across as a manipulater, and self centred person..
Personally I think the twins, Chloe and Eileen are by standers in this game and bring nothing to the show..
Jack is becoming a stirer and a bit of a moaner..but will be kept in for another bit...
I think Sarah is coming cross as a possible leader in this house ,my first impression of her has changed for the better.. I think she may be there till the end..
But things change everyday in this house..hopefully for better viewing..

Yeah I didn't fancy Sarah's chances on the first night, she seemed a bit bitchy and cold. But she's really grown on me. I think she's stunning to look at and she has a very soft motherly nature to her.

Jade hasn't done herself any favours.. her little 'calling out' session in the diary room was just cringy.

"Watch out bitches, Ima fcuk you up with my hair straightener" :D lol.. oh dear

Jack has definitely changed his tune since winning the opinion poll thing.. definitely went to his head.

I like Eileen, but, as above, I think the cheering for her on Friday night may have gone to her head and she's gotten a bit brazen.

I still like the twins, I think they're pretty genuine, if a bit ditzy. No real harm in them imo. Very fiery though if challenged.

I liked Hariet on the first night but she's shown herself to be a bit unhinged tbh. One to watch.

I think Chloe is another very genuine person, doesn't get enough air time imo. I think she and Sarah will be in til the end.

I like all the boys this year. They all bring something different.

Bleurgh at Jades blatant attempts at looking alluring on the diary room chair during nominations, then stroking her leg to draw the eye. Vomit.

She's gone come Friday anyway. Glad I don't read newspapers or magazines cos the less I know about her the better.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,257 ✭✭✭BettePorter

Jade is infuriating to watch. Can she possibly be real? She's so arrogant and full of herself. Seeing her draped across the diary room chair caressing her thigh was enough to make me vomit a lil in my mind for women in general. Id be embarrassed to know her. The ****e she spouts and cockiness of her.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,661 ✭✭✭Crimsonforce

I thought she looked like she had a knob nearly sticking out of that skirt in the diary room!

    Can't stand Eileen.

She comes out of the diary room and says her first nomination was 'so easy', then Jade retaliates by saying her's was 'a walk in the park', then Eileen bitches at the sink to Harriet and says she is furious over Jade's comment. It's crazy.

I know I'm totally outnumbered in this thread but I feel sorry for Jade. She's not doing herself any favours by pretending to not give a sh*t, but she is definitely been picked on by Eileen.
