Transfer from Computer Science to another college?

My bf just completed year 2 of the Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. He has one more year left. Are there any other colleges in Ireland he could do year 3 in, does anyone know?

I believe he'd need to apply directly to the colleges themselves, and the credits and modules etc would need to be similar, though it depends on the college.

Best way to find out would be to get in touch with the college(s) he'd like to move to, or to check if they have any policies/restrictions/rules on transfer applications.
