So basically we have two photos from the same island which was discovered by Portuguese but not part of Portugal now

I thought the second was from a different island but somehow related to the first?

The two pictures are in two separate countries, but if you find one you will find the other.

Hang on now lads, there is still the unsolved Church which is linked Cebu but I had intended that you'd find the location of the church when no-one was biting.

    Hahaha.

I'll admit I'm not too well travelled but I enjoy these challenges from a research point of view. I tried everything from reverse image searches to brushing up on my Portuguese history to no avail.. Then I thought, why not brush up on your history!

    Voila

I'd given up. We guessed 25 different countries and I was looking elsewhere. Must be some kind of record !

In fairness the main Portuguese explorers would be Magellan, Dias and Vasco da Gama. Cebu appears 7 times on Magellan's wiki page so it would only be a matter of time ;)

...Still thinking of another place, wanna pick a good one so another few mins.

I will admit that I did look at Stinicker's profile, but only at threads they started.

They didn't start this one, but answered someone else's query.

It always had an Asian look to it, but everyone then went off on South America?

The white man's doom, had been looking at West Africa, because I reckoned it had something to do with man's grave ?
Then the likes of Nagasaki had a major Portugese connection and has offshore airport.
Anyway it was a damm good one.
