    Hi everyone,

I'm a kiwi living in Cork and I need recommendations please for a talented seamstress/alterations person in Cork City. I have a dress for a wedding that I need altered. Keen for recommendations from experience to be sure they're going to do a fab job! :) thanks in advance!

New to Boards also, so hopefully this is posted in the right spot! :)

I hope the OP on the Weddings forum doesn't mind if I link to her post about alterations http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=95419108&postcount=4

Milly33 is a regular poster on this forum so I'm sure she'll endorse her recommendation! :D

Is it your wedding dress or are you a guest? I've had stuff altered in the Singer centre on Grand Parade before and it's turned out perfectly, not sure if they do wedding dresses though but couldn't see why not.

A link that works ncur they come back to haunt me.. Haha...

The Zip Yard are actually really good too.. And quite cheap. I know I got a top sown back together there that was a kinda soft lace at the back joining cotton and they made a great job of it...
