i'm waiting on a package via singpost 11 days now since being shipped and tracking tells you
    nada.
it was my first order on fasttech and only found out after how bad sign;post are
    waiting in hope

I used fasttech only a couple of times, each time took about 3 weeks. I just rather pay a little more to get it now. Unless it's something you're really not in a hurry for, I wouldn't have the patience.

I've gotten things in less than 2 weeks overall before. singpost seems to have gone to cack - appears that service is not consistent. with your consignment if it's not showing "dispatched to overseas country" yet then it means that it's still in the process of going from fasttech to singpost or that singpost have it (most likely) and haven't even started sending it abroad yet. it used to be the case that when you see the "dispatched to overseas country" on tracking that you'd then have it with you in a week but as from my example above this now seems to be 2 weeks or a little more. If I'm ordering again, I'll use a different postal service.

Just received a package this morning. I paid the extra 1.75 which gave me Malaysia post rather than Singapore. I ordered on the 10th so exactly 14 days ago. Not bad.

I put in an order late last night and now they're telling me its shipped already the liars.

Malaysia post was only 50 cent extra for me.

Any of you have the kuro coilers from there? I ordered them, a derringer, ceramic tweezers, a load of drip tips and about 200 pre built micro coils. Got a bit click happy.

Could have done without the coils really, the blue screwdriver method is working well for me but they were so cheap I said why not.

I bought the Kuro's & Ceramics a couple of months ago & they are top notch...

Ordered end of jan, shipped feb 8th, arrived last thursday.

The important thing is that it actually arrived and to be fair the long delivery time wasnt actually the fault of fasttech.

China post was a bad choice me thinks.

Two new Cloupor minis finally arrived.
Order made and paid for on 17/4 and marked as shipped on 22/4 (not in stock at time of order so thats fine).
Now comes the problem which I find ridiculous.
It took from the 22/4 to the 1/5 for the package to show up at the PostNL sorting centre, thats nearly 10 days missing.
I paid the $4 for Post NL option, 12 day max delivery time.
From there it took the full 12 days and I had the package on 13th, yesterday.

What the fk was going on in that 10 day period in between I do not know.
    Its infuriating.

Anyway, two shiny new black Cloupor Minis, I tested them both immediately and they are perfect.

My last one with SingPost was very fast,

    Status Date Status Description
18-05-2015 Information Received (This is not an acknowledgment of the physical receipt of the stated Registered Article)
22-05-2015 Despatched to overseas (Country code: IE)

No update on the tracking but it was delivered on the 27th.

That's not bad going though singpost the majority of the time break my heart and leave me on edge for weeks usually, might just go for china post and hope they're still fairly fast like they were this time last year.

I haven't heard anything good about CP to Ireland lately.
They seem to do well shipping to the UK so I took a chance with them last month but wasn't impressed with the 25 day delivery.

lol, I know but Sing seem to be doing ok now, that probably jinxed it >.<

I just used the $4 PostNL option on two separate orders.
Apalling service, even worse than the normal china post options, but at least you don't have to pay extra for them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 935 ✭✭✭jousting with chairs

Got another from Sing this morning, again no update on the tracking which is unusual for them but delivery time was good.

    Status Date Status Description
21-05-2015 Information Received (This is not an acknowledgment of the physical receipt of the stated Registered Article)
25-05-2015 Despatched to overseas (Country code: IE)

    Delivered 2/6

I ordered two items a week ago. Just checked the order status. One is ready to ship the other will be ready on the 17th. Thing is when I look at the item page I can't see anywhere it says it's not available till then.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,005 ✭✭✭JH_raheny

I have one as well that just says *restocking* for the last two weeks, no point in cancelling as they don't refund you but just give you a gift cert so once payment is done you just have to wait :-)

As you all know the Singapore Post website is more or less useless when it comes to updating tracking status. This may already be known, but I will mention it just in case. You can use quantiumaspac.com/qtracker/track.aspx to track your orders instead of Singapore Post's website. It is accurate an updated properly. :)
