Venetian Blinds on tilt and turn windows

    Hey folks,

My wife and I are trying to decide what to go for with our blinds mounting and hoping someone can help us out with a picture.

Basically our 2 optics are mount the blind the length of the window and lose the future open option on our windows... Or Mount the blinds on each segment of the window.

Now as our windows have different sections like most ireland the blinds would need to be at different heights mounted to the frame, obviously lower on the parts that open...

We can't visualise the properly and wondering if any boardsies have this setup and could provide a photo?

Searched Google but couldn't find a picture like it.

    Thanks
    Fionn

I don't see how venetian blinds will work on tilt and turn windows. If you open the windows with the blinds fixed to them would they not hang at a strange angle?

No as you put clips on them at the bottom that they pop in to... Its done alot

    Ah, i see.

I'm not sure i understand the issue properly to provide a photo. Perhaps a blind supplier could do you up a visual of it or you could draw it up in something like SketchUP yourself. I've used this a lot for things just like this.

I suppose your best bet would be something like this. A quick google comes up with Hilary's, or acharablinds.ie. probably a few more, but I'm sure you'll find them yourself! I've never dealt with either, nor do I know anyone who has. I know my mam priced sunroom blinds recently with Hilary's, and they were very pricey!

Sorry, I've just realised I didn't answer the question you actually asked. I always find it very annoying when other people do that!

Thanks all, we got sorted... we went and got the one's which block the windows from opening fully but they look better...
