As much as he is skilled I always feel that half of his total action and movement in unnecessary.

Is the rule where you can only fall 3 times in place for mayweather fight?

More patting and slapping going on in this fight, lomanchenko should really be throwing with a little more conviction.

    Well that fight is over.

Would that be considered unsportsmanlike the way he gave up and took a knee?

I thought Lomachenko was just playing around there. He carried Rodriguez for a good few rounds, then decided to get rid of him.

Are all the fights going off ahead of schedule? Could the main event be brought forward as a result?

My cousin is at the fight and I just asked him what time he thinks the ring walk will be at and he said 9 local time or 5 here.

Rodriguez pretending he didn't know his 10 seconds were up. Sums him up. Not easy taking punishment but he's not at all honest.

I'm not blaming him for going down, I'm just wondering if he was looking for a way out and took it? Is it frowned upon at all? It's basically quitting, unless he took a shot in the liver.

Possibly, but still way too much stuff going on that doesn't need to be going on. Anyway, he is a great boxer and want to see him take on the best now. Oh, and fooking learn bloody English.

    ..And the inevitable conclusion.

152/310 power shots landed by Loma. The majority of them from round 3 on when he got going.
First full fight of his I've watched. Id that guy really was the no.1 contender he is light years ahead of most of his weight class I'd imagine?

    What's the point fighting on?

It was over as a contest

True, but isn't that a decision best taken by his corner? Or is the referee-stoppage-only rule in effect?

I think he has it all learned. Not much learned actually. That's a natural great talent.

He can end it himself - he wasn't able for it, as Watt said the corner should have stepped in earlier
