Hey guys, I have an iPhone 5 and I can't get the irig to work with it. It worked with my iPhone 4 and it works with my friends iPad. Any ideas how I can fix this?
I've had the irig for quite some time now and just never got around to getting it sorted!

What's happening? What have you tried to fix it? Have you removed the app, cleared it's cache, and reinstalled? Is your version of the software compatible with the iPhone 5? Have you googled your problem? Have you posted on ikmultimedia forums/sent them a support ticket?

The iRig plugs into the headphone socket. Any time I've ever had headphones not working in an iPhone, it's been because the headphone jack is full of lint and pocket crud. If you suspect this is he case, carefully clean it out with a toothpick or cocktail stick. Or a whittled matchstick if you want to be all DIY.

    That sorted it thanks!
I did clean it already but since my headphones worked with it I assumed that it was clean enough, I got a tiny little pin and cleaned out loads of dirt.
Such a simple fix makes me feel stupid now ha!
