Challenge 154: Straws

Thanks again everyone for the votes.

Ill leave the the interpretation open.

RULES:

- Opening date is at the time of this post.
- Closing date is Wednesday, the 22th of April at 8pm. At this point I will announce the winner and ask him/her to post the next challenge.
- Only photos taken in this time period will qualify.
- Only 1 photo per post, but submit as many posts as you like.
- Image size must be no longer than 800px on the longest side.
- The next challenge will be chosen by the person who has the most thanks after the closing date of this challenge.
- Photo must be taken by you.

If you feel your photograph needs an explanation to how it relates to the theme then post it.

Straw Flower

By the way, it's been an adventure getting to be able to post this photo - I was well short of the required 50 posts to attach an image (50, lads, really?) so the After Hours forum is now littered with my idle thoughts. Thanks to Lotsafish for pointing me in that direction

Would people mind adding with their picture the type of lens they used to achieve their picture please? It would be really helpful for newbies to photography, to get an eye on what can be achieved with what type of lens, especially when investing in such expensive kit. Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask.

I know it's too late, but my DSLR camera only has an 18 to 55mm lens, so I had to wait till I got home to use my bridge camera. I thought I would send them in anyway.

Oh wow, thank you all so much. Its great to have won, especially as its my first submission in a long time.

Special mention to Nforce's "Straw Bubbles" - that pic blew me away.

I'll have a think and post up the next challenge shortly.

These challenges are often inspirational when you see what people do. Your photo was brilliant and inspired me.
