The morning Etihad flight into DUB (EY45) returned to AUH over Turkey. Replacement EY45A left AUH over 12 hours late(probably due in DUB around 1830 local). So, there'll be two evening Etihad departures from DUB today. Both A330s.

Which brings me onto a different topic..are there no 777s on the Abu Dhabi route anymore?

No finished late last year, must have felt the squeeze with double daily Emirates 777 flights.

I haven't seen that TK cargo A332 into SNN for a while, anyone else see it?

Nothing official but I asked some other spotters and they said it's going non-stop westbound to Chicago for the Summer with a potentially reduced payload.

Apparently the Shannon stop is only necessary in the face of certain Winter winds or with a full-weight, rather than full-volume, payload.

And checking Turkish Cargo's website, looks like they anticipate one Shannon stop-over on the 17th April:
    17 04.2015 TK6555 33X IST 06:50 SNN 09:20
    17 04.2015 TK6555 33X SNN 10:50 ORD 12:50

    Have a poke around:

A Cavok Air An-74 (UR-CKC) overflew Ireland this afternoon at around 15:30 local time.

Not even cockpit view, your looking straight down.

Its pretty poor alright, but in fairness there's no cost effective way to improve it.

If it was to disappear in the morning I wouldn't cry.

Yeah its grand, Im not too bothered just thought I would ask.

Been an aviation fan for years but only got the app this week. Bought the 2 addons (Better plane symbols and the arrival/departure boards).
Is the Custom alerts worth buying for the 5er?

No, not really. I'm a frequent user and I still see little use for it. Of course, I'm happy to support FR24 and their great app.

I don't think it affects my ability to find planes. I find when I have the custom alerts set, they often take about 5 minutes+ to alert me and by that time the plane has travelled a bit, so its very useless.

In my opinion, its not worth that price. Of course it's a little better, suppose its how much you value your money.

There's a bit of info about the interior fittings here:

Actual owner is thought to be Prince Mohammad bin Fahd al Saud.

    Sorry it's on Marinetraffic.com

Coastguard don't generally show up on FR24.

Around 150 miles west of Shannon now. If they head out much further I'd imagine they'll need top cover.
