I'm finishing up a level 6 course that's considered higher education. I was thinking on transferring to UCD to Trinity but I'll be going into first or second year. Will I have to pay fees/get a grant for this course as I'll already have done two years of higher education?

    Thanks!

I did a Level 6 then transferred into second year and didn't have to pay fees. I'm unsure as to whether I would have had to if I'd gone into first.

If you're progressing, ie. starting a level 7/8 having done a level 6, you will not have to pay fees and will be entitled to apply for the grant
