Is everything on RTE1HD upscaled?

I only recently got RTE1 HD as I am reliant on Saorsat and Sky for my TV signal and as RTE1HD isn't on Sky it was only last week (after the Saorsat launch) that I got my first true glimpse of RTE1 in High-Def. It seems everything on it appears to be upscaled. Is there any native HD content? Last night I was about to watch Gran Torino which was the Monday night movie but it was upscaled so I didn't bother as the picture quality just wasn't sharp enough. RTE2HD has alot of true HD content by comparison.

Late Late Show is also HD every week. They do show HD programming despite the ramblings of some people on here.

A HD programme is a rarity, be honest!

Even the Grand National wasn't shown in HD yesterday:D

Considering they took coverage from SD only Racing UK, why would you expect it to be HD?
