Just read this now (if it hasn't been posted already) - even an 80 year old can cause a scene!

Does FR24 often 'lose' the airport? Havn't seen lads landing in Clonshaugh before.

Its quite a regular occurrence, especially on CityJet aircraft. They land from Santry to Skerries and everywhere in between.

AC823 diverting to SNN for fuel.

And AC879 following into Shannon (probably for fuel)

It's usually a sign the transponder on board the aircraft has aged quite a bit and is near its expiry. :)

I have said it before, its coming from Bangor to Shannon. Not Houston as others have incorrectly said.

Possible to track military, say Irish Air Corp through FR24?

You can often see some RAF aircraft(mostly Hawks). IAC usually doesn't come up on FR24 but they do sometimes.

You can get the Coastguard helis and sometimes the Air Corps doing fisheries patrol on https://www.marinetraffic.com/

    Also get the Naval Service.

Sitting on my balcony here and a Dreamliner just passed overhead. They don't make a lot of noise, do they?

There's a Stobart Air near Belfast going from Edinburgh to Shannon under the callsign BE4500. Anyone know why?

Edit: Munster Rugby team. The aircraft had to fly from Cork-Edinbrugh then Edinbrugh-Shannon and will do Shannon-Cork after that.
