Planning a last minute honeymoon

    im getting married in august and cant really afford the honeymoon.

    would i get a good deal if i tried to book something the day after the wedding?

    August is peak season and the likelihood of getting a bargain would be slim

    No, IMO the 'last minute' deals are all the crap they couldn't sell off earlier on, usually 3ish star hotels and horrible charter flights.

    Why not wait a while and do something outside of peak season ? During august everything is inflated due to the schools being off

    Also a sun holiday is nicer when its cold here ;)

    Why don't you just go away for a night or two in Ireland after the wedding and book the honeymoon for early next year?
