A Stobart is on the way for Cork too

Below 3000ft over Cork harbour and again 4000ft over Cork city. That's gotta be a nice view even at this hour!

Ryanair going straight to Farranfore? Edit: Nope but Shamrock is gone to SNN

    Ryanair going straight to Farranfore?

Fog started rolling in over the harbor earlier, if the weather stays like this its going to be a regular occurrence over the next few days.

They can use the cross runway, may have a better line of site ?

As a ps poor amateur, I think I asked this question before but...

Seems it is easier or maybe safer to take off in fog, but not to land.

    What say you?

Yep, minimum 300m Runway Visual Range (RVR) it's 375m RVR on runway 17 at the moment. Not much to play with.

Not tonight minimum rvr of 1500m on that runway, no ILS available on that runway. VOR only.

    Stobart off to Shannon.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,980 ✭✭✭Growler!!!

Latest rvr is 300m. On the limits, going to specsavers might not help tonight.

Another Aer Lingus and another Ryanair inbound to Cork

Holding - looking at options I'd say. SNN or dub?

I'd say SNN would be the option unless it gets full. DUB may have a bit of holding also tonight.
