It's diverting to GLA now, Runway 30 RVR down to 350m at Prestwick. The FR9 which had already diverted into GLA is about to return there too.

Prestwick is known as the airport that never gets fog!

Really living up to its name.

Unfortunate as it was a gorgeous day around PIK with clear skies, but with fog/haar around Arran that has rolled inland after dark.

Why did FR2413 (FMM-DUB) divert to SNN last night at around 22:30?

Just looking back at it now, strange one, not even going near DUB straight to SNN. FR24 flight error? Listening back to Shannon control atc now for any clues.

Its a DUB based aircraft that's flying back now.
Was there holding at DUB at the time? Also SNN-FMM flights run TUE,THURS,SAT and not SUN

Oh actually considering its destination would this be some EI maintenance job rather than pax flight?

The amount of A380's that cross the country now and that's only going to increase. If it was an A350 or 787-9 then I'd look at it.
