What type of port? What's your set up?

Does the TV have any HDMI inputs, as it stands?

Does the TV have a DVI input or, is it analogue-only: can it handle HD signals of any kind, like component video? Do the devices you want to connect not have analogue SD outputs (SCART, yellow/red/white RCA video & audio)?

Is it a CRT TV (old style) you have or a flat screen? if its the latter it would be strange for it not to have a HDMI port

if it's hd it will have hdmi input or two, if it doesnt adding , even if you could, would be pointless as it won't be a hd TV so wouldn't benifit from hdmi?
