Borderlands looks very tempting to me, never played it. Deus Ex for 3.74 is a mega bargain for anyone that doesn't have that one (I'm playing through it now, great game, cool music and atmosphere).

Spec ops : the line is one of those games that gets mad praise, but I'm slow to add another "must play" to the already massive backlog.

It's pretty good alright but think I got it for under 5 euro before in a different digital sale.

I'm like you now, keeping the buying to a minimum, the backlog only gets bigger on its own now with the free titles from LIVE and PSN.

Borderlands series is excellent imo.

Spec Ops usually gets praised for it's story, which was good but not mind-blowing and pretty similar to a well-known film, although there are one or two standout moments.

The game mechanics themselves were fairly standard. It's probably worth a shot at 7 quid, it's a game you could finish casually enough over a weekend.

I found it very though at the start and always picked my battles carefully. I'm now fully levelled and I love running into a stronghold and just killing everything for a while.
I would def recommend it. Most fun I've had playing a game in ages.
