It isn't near anything as far as I know. I spent about a week in its environs about 10 years ago and a spin on a private airplane was the only notable trip available.

You will know it is coastal from its name.

It's Streaky Bay. I lived not far away for a while, in Moonta.

Did we ever get this one solved?

The 24-hour rule was invoked, but I think again, my earlier post is setting a bad precedent! :o

I think we need agreement on this!

The 24-hour rule I think only applies if the poster who got the last photo correct fails to post a new photo. If they don't post within 24 hours of being told they were correct, anyone else can post a new photo.

It shouldn't be the case that a photo lapses just because no-one guessed in 24 hours.

This is the only way the 24 rule would make sense to me. If the owner of the pic isn't returning to answer in the affirmative or not then the turn should move on to someone else.

Assuming this is an Arabic country, it doesn't look like one of the more hardline ones. Ankara in Turkey maybe?

    It's definitely not Turkey.

Looks like Cairo, or somewhere in Egypt.

No to both. Again, heading in the wrong direction.

Iran. Going on the basis that there's little non Arabic writing in the signs.
