Hi, My Fulcrum 7 rear wheel had its free hub replaced about 6 weeks ago. It was about a year old. Thought it should have lasted longer (5 - 6000k's on it). About 2 weeks after it was replaced it seized mid spin so I had a fixie, couldn't free wheel without the chain dropping down and clipping off the spokes. Brought it back and the shop who replaced it did some tinkering with it, I couldn't see exactly what they did but I was told it was fine. Got another 2 weeks or so and today same problem again. The replacement hub and two chainrings cost me 80 euro at the time which led me to think the free hub was not an original Fulcrum as they go for over 80 euro. The wheels cost me double that and I don't want need anything better as its a winter hack. Am I better off buying a new wheel set rather than just a freehub. The original shop told me there was no fulcrum distributor and it would be hard to get but cycle superstore have then in stock now ? Some guidance on this would be appreciated from the knowledgable boardsies
