Was awfully tempted to ring a takeaway. But I made dinner.

Would have been kinda embarrassed getting chips two nights in a row.

    Little victory for hey!

As much as I admire the people at Dog's Trust and such, there's part of me that wishes there wasn't a need for them. 178 dogs rehomed so far this year, 800 odd in all of last year. The place would break your heart.

I get so annoyed with people over this subject. It's just not right. My local rescue has over 100 dogs at the moment.
I can't imagine not having my dogs.

I know. It's so awful. Definitely safe to say I'll never buy a dog again. Rescue all the way.

If we had space at the house, there's a beautiful dog I'd adopt out of the ISPCA. Nika, she's a Husky/Akita cross, very active dog so you'd need to be prepared for that :P

My son's first confession went well. Hasn't stopped raining here all evening though.

Love them dogs Angron, but you would need a lot of space for them.

I don't think I ever had a second one of those :pac:

And aye, you would indeed Ted. Joys of living out in the countryside!

I have a German Shepherd/husky cross and purebred husky. Both came from the same dog rescue place.

He didn't have to go into the confession box for it. Think they don't do that anymore.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,401 ✭✭✭✭x Purple Pawprints x

I always found that so uncomfortable. Do you still have to go to confession before you get married?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,537 ✭✭✭KKkitty

If you're getting married in a church I think you do.

Funny, I always thought if I got married I'd get married in a church but now I'm not sure what I'd like. Probably whatever scenario would involve the least amount of time with me as the center of attention. :o
