Hi all,

Im new to this so apologies if this is a simple question. Im trying to get an arduino to control my RC hovercraft.

The simplist way I can see to do this is to unclip thee centre attachment of the motor transistors and to then replace this with a feed coming from the arduino(like the yellow wire in https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-arduino-lesson-13-dc-motors/breadboard-layout).

I've attached a photo of the printed circuit board with the transistors.

Can someone with a bit more experience tell me if this is a good idea?

What are you trying to get the arduino to do?

A transistor switches a larger current such as the motors, according to receiving a much smaller signal current to its base, such as output by an arduino or other microcontroller.
