    I found it -- Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia. If you want to see it,

    11 deg 34'09" N and 104 deg 55'51" E

    Well done. Just out of screen shot is the royal palace. Great place to visit if any of you are so inclined. I thought the motorbikes would narrow it down somewhat.

    Yep, it had to be southeast Asia somewhere, and probably a capital city with a statue like that one. Anyway, let's see how long this lasts, one clue I will give you is that the view is towards the southeast.

    Yeah okay, right bridge but view is towards Buffalo NY (you can see downtown Buffalo in this shot) with Lake Erie in the background and Niagara River under the bridge. IIRC the screen capture is just on the U.S. side of the border. But Fort Erie (ON, Canada) is behind you in that view.

    My version of google earth shows the location at a different time of year (Dec 2009). See if somebody can guess it, I'm not guessing with this one.
