Has anyone ever used Amazon FBA from Ireland and if so what are your experiences with it?

Yes and fine. What's your concern?

I'm thinking about doing it myself. Do you usually send in a big box of products each time to a factory in the UK? Is there any restriction on Ireland for this process?

Sorry it wasn't clear from the OP that you were looking at using it to sell, I've only availed of it as a buyer with no issues.

That's fine. It's a process by which you send products to amazon and they sell them on your behalf. It's called Fulfilment by Amazon or FBA. If anyone has any input from an Irish perspective that would be great

Sorry to bump this but has anyone sold via FBA from Ireland? Is it possible or can it only be done from the UK?

    Hi,

I'm currently looking to get into FBA. I read an ebook etc and various bits on the amazon site and still a bit confused about some things.

They say to sell a couple of things that you have laying about the house to get used to the process before you get into any serious stuff etc. Anyway I signed up with the Amazon FBA UK and found a couple of things to sell - some apple power cords, a digital camera with memory cards and a hard drive.

I have 2 questions right now

    1. I had planned to use some freezer bags (that have a sliding sealer on them) but they don't have a suffocation warning. I know I can print a suffocation warning and stick it on but I'm wondering if my freezer bag is the required thickness etc. Its all a bit fuzzy to understand. Is there anywhere here or in the uk that I can get FBA certified poly bags ? I assume when I have my stuff bagged i can label them and lob them all into a box and post to Amazon UK FBA center.

    2. Is there a cost effective way of sending my stuff to the center in the UK? In the US i know they have special deals with UPS for sending stuff to the centres, but not so sure what the options are from Ireland

    any advice appeciated

    thanks

For postage getting them over I used parcel force when I was doing big heavy shipments over and drove up to Belfast to drop them in.

Small ones I used parcel motel and myhermes. Costing about 8euro

any thoughts on the freezer bags? where do you get your polybags? any resources?

also was thinking of buying an fba course on udemy, seems to be one or 2 with great reviews

Never used any bags except for selling spark plugs and they were in small 5cmx3cm plan zip bags. No warnings or writing on it.

I have used FBA for a number of clients in the ROI pretty easily. FBA can be a bit of a minefield but once you get your head round it its a neat tool.

What courier is recommended (cost wise) to send to their UK warehouse?
I see in America ,Amazon FBA have their own recommended affiliated courier service , which is a fraction of the cost of what normal shipping would be.
Does the same ring through to FBA sellers in Ireland i wonder?
I'm thinking of giving FBA a go
