Why are there so many of us awake at 2 in the morning? Please say there are some of you living abroad or something?

Dare i say it but Pellè's quickly becoming affordable again. I know that form over fixtures is what counts, and the Italian is woefully off-form at the present, but after the Chelsea game Southampton have some very interesting fixtures. Might he be worth a punt?

Can't see me bringing him in again. Ever!
Sturridge currently my 3rd striker along with Aguero and Kane. If I have to sell him it'd probably be for Giroud. Austin possibly but Pelle is a long long way down the list of potential replacements

Ah ya. You're right no doubt. I suppose his price going down is reflective of people having had enough of his lack of returns.
My front 3 consists of Aguero, Kane and Austin. I think the first two of those will be in my team til seasons end now. Austin will be there for the next couple of games at least. However, I can't help but feel that Southampton will have a strong finish to the season. They are facing a lot of teams stuck in the lower half of the table. Bound to be goals.

If you want Southampton attacking coverage, Mane is a much better option than Pelle imo.

Or maybe Forster. He's more likely to get a goal or assist than BUIB.

    From @FPLPriceChanges

    RE: Price Changes...

Looks like there has been a #FPL rule change which affected changes (e.g. Rose and Kane)

We're waiting until they change in price before assessing how to change the price change algorithm.

How can there be a rule change at this stage of the season? Bizaar

It could relate to the DGW, which could mean it was there all along. I'm not sure they're actually gonna release what said rule was though.

I knew it! Maybe I shall send them my expected wages (I won't be greedy :p) so they can offer me a full time job related to it :pac:...

    UP: Moreno, Kane, Henderson

    Eriksen down is weird ...

And Jones is ...... He just couldn't hold on for 1 little day. The fecker has gone down to be worse than Baines & Zabaleta combined to my team (to think it was him or Clyne for my Jan WC makes me speechlessly mad ).

One thing I will say about the price changes is that they seem to be a lot more chaotic lately. Defoe and Cuadrado would maybe be an example of this with their prices plummeting over the last week or two.

One reason FPL decided to make a change to the algorithm I'd imagine would be to counter the number of zombie teams at this stage of the season. The equations at the start of the season may likely have calculated price rises or drops using the total number of players in the game. At this late stage, the number of inactive players would likely have a dampening effect on price changes; less overall transfers meaning thresholds take longer to be reached.

Whatever change has been made seems to discount the zombie teams somewhat, or at least reduce their effect. This is evidenced in the number of changes which are taking place every night now. Team value would also give an indication of this chaoticity. Mine seems to be jumping up and down over the last few weeks. I didn't think I'd have to be giving much consideration to team value this late in the game. My game plan was to build team value for the first two thirds of the season so that it wouldn't be a worry for the run in. I might have to reassess that approach now. :(

Defoe has been a very expensive knee jerk transfer from that time Giroud was left out before the deadline, his fixtures have been good enough and other concerns more pressing ever since. Today he plays as a lone forward home to Villa, no way I could justify a transfer out in that situation.

There was a huge bandwagon for Defoe here that evening. The same sort of bandwagon has totally turned me off Schlupp.

I hope for others it works out but I remember in previous seasons forum bandwagons like Enrique, Benteke and Tom Ince going terribly wrong.

Agreed. That phrase about it better being 1 week late rather than 3 weeks early seems apt here. Either way, best of luck to everyone with the Schlupp punt.

i checked and Eriksen was nowhere near a drop? Bah. Anyway he was involved in loads last game (a minor miracle - for non owners :p - that he didn't bring home any attacking returns), but confident enough with the upcoming fixtures in mind (possibly not this gw, but the 4 after are lookin' nice)

To be fair, Defoe had the form and the fixtures. A lot of people in the top 1k made the Giroud to Defoe move which is why he's free falling now.

Not to mention the BUIB virus which swept through a few ofsus around here. Bad dose, took weeks to shift it.
