I should re-string my guitar... Too tired though.

    Nah, cooking some pasta ;)

But I've kinda been lazy about getting off my butt to do it, so my tummy is now gurgling so loudly my neighbors are probably thinking there's a stampeding buffalo in my living room

It'll be tuned AEADGB - for those that know, yes, it's tuned as a 7 string (and then dropped to A) but it is a 6 string guitar (an Ibanez Iceman to be precise).

Is one G-string enough man ?

I'd probably want to get a baritone guitar to go for Drop-G! It'd be fking bowl wobbling stuff chugging out some filthy doomy riffs on that though :D

Silly question, what's wrong with a 6 string guitar? Not knocking the 7 stringer, i and just my opinion, don't see the point of an extra string.

Nothing wrong with it at all in the sliughtest! However, I want to play deep rumbling doom stuff and going for the lower notes that a 7 string (or, a 6 string retuned like mine) offers is far more preferable to me for the kind of terrible noise I wanna make.

I haven't played a gig in I don't know how long. Don't see myself doing it again with any stuff I write either, I'll probably record some of it though, I have access to a studio.
