Right PM, put me down for €10 of lucky dips in the main arena and €10 on the side bets please.

Can you randomly make them include a mix of sure fires and a couple of definite 'out there wild cards' please :D

One should definitely have Laura as favourite and better stick Yabowsie and MNLOP in too ;) oops and yourself :)

And don't forget to make mine the winner.
(Put my winnings back in the pot tx)

    Your main event bets .....

I haven't forgotten about doing my own contribution - just a mental week (I've lots of logs to catch up on too) - So more money to come!

On a personal note. There is to be fair a rather optimistic target set for this of €1000. If we raise that I will personally commit to running the Beer Mile this year in a fancy dress outfit of the forums choice. :)

    €695 -just saying :)

Just don't read my log or it will put you off just like it would of before Enniscorthy!

Really haven't a clue of who's who for the match-ups so I'll just take the side-bet on the so-called villain vs the boards average :)

Great cause, well done on raising so much.

Really not up to date with the training of most of the runners, but I agree with PacingMule that the slower&newer runners have the best chance of beating the odds. So here's my 3 ....

    1 Laura_ac
    2 MKDTH
    3 PacingMule

    1 Pacing Mule
    2 Laura_ac
    3 MarthaStew

    1 Laura_ac
    2 TheBitterLemon
    3 MKDTH

Not sure about an official meet up beforehand but certainly after I'm sure a crowd from here will gather.

I'm going to wear a boards.ie running top for those who don't know me in person yet. So if you see me please come up and introduce yourself.

    My 3 picks:

    Tunguska/TRR/CJ
    TRR/Tunguska/CJ
    TRR/CJ/Tunguska

Just for my love of Detroit and to soothe the TRR ego. Best of luck all!

Less than 24 hours to go !

Calling all the shrewd punters who have waited until last minute to judge the current form before betting :D

For those running tomorrow. Thanks again ! Is there anyone bar TRR who feels they could win this ?

Hope everyone has a great race and no doubt there will be a few surprises (but who will they be....?). Really looking forward to the reports from this one!

Very best of luck to all the runners and punters tomorrow:D
I had hoped to study the form and come up with some amazing insightful betting but yet again the week seems to have disappeared so can I please have a lucky dip PM? And choose well because the Stews are happy to deposit any winnings in the pot.

*I'm in the form of my life and raring to go for tomorrow:D

*not exactly true but who knows what could happen tomorrow?;)

Is this a bit of mind games starting before our "match up" tomorrow???? Best of luck MS :)

First up, good luck to everyone tomorrow.

Ok, donation finally made and some random bets are as follows. I think this is how many I can make - tell me if I'm wrong!!

    TRR
    Tunguska
    MKDTH

    Pacing Mule
    Meno
    Mathastew

    TJ
    Calvin
    Overpronator

Side bets: TbL to beat Meno and Yaboya to beat the other two lads.

Please and thank you :) I actually gave up on trying to keep track of everyone's handicap and what their PB's are, and their current form  I've gone with a bit of a mixed bag with no logic at all!! :pac:

Look forward to hearing the results + various reports - particularly for spotting contradictions!

Best of luck to all runners and well done + thanks to PM + ECOLLI for arranging all this.
