Just a clarification,

It looks like there was a typo in the Meno TBL side bet it's effectively the same handicap as the outright book,

All bets already struck will be honored but going forward TBL will have to finish within 30 sec in order to be a winner rather than other way around

The main event:

Pick the top 3 in order - costs €5.00 donation per bet with 3 goes available for €10.00. Get it right and win or share in the jackpot (25% of all bets on the main event go to fund the jackpot) Current total €51.25

Just another quick reminder on the side bets that are also available organised by ECOLII. These side bets present more of a chance of winning some cash ! Quite simple - pick the winner of any of these match ups and double your money (max bet €10.00 per side bet)

Sidebet 1
Boards.ie (-15 min) v Pantomime Villain (Dr Quirky) (+15 min) - The average of the boards runners times versus Dr Quirky + 15 minutes. If you think we as a group (our average time with fastest and slowest taken out to balance things a bit) can get within 15 min of Quirky bet on boards.ie - If not bet on Quirky.

Sidebet 2 (Please note amendment to these handicaps)

Meno (+30 seconds) v ThebitterLemon (- 30 seconds) Straight contest between the two lads. Can TbL finish within 30 seconds of Meno ? This had originally been listed the other way around. So all bets placed before ECOLII clarified this earlier today are being honoured with the old handicaps. Going forward it's TbL to finish within 30 seconds of Meno. If you think he can bet for TbL - If you think Meno can beat him by more than 30 seconds bet for Meno.

Sidebet 3
Yaboya1 (Scratch) v Calvin Johnson (-6 min) v MKTDH (-40 min) The 3 lads work together giving this a bit of spice. Who will be the fastest of the 3 (with the handicaps taken into account of course!)

Sidebet 4

Marthastew (+ 25 min) v Laura_ac3 (-25 min) Another straight contest. Can Laura ac3 finish within 25 minutes of Marthastew.

Remember - all donations to these side bets go straight to the charity as ECOLII is very generously funding the prize pay outs for these 4 side bets.

Betting wise TRR continues to be the strong favourite - not least with himself :pac: now amassing a total of 18 first place bets. Marthastew still holds onto top spot in the overall predictions despite her professional sand bagging at the 5k last weekend.

I suspect though that it won't be long before TRR overtakes her there too. Don't be surprised to see the bookies out trying to dope TRR on Saturday night.

Put in my main bet earlier but have to have a side bet on the villain or the exile (which might be more appropriate ) matter of opinion what a villain is - have to say I always enjoyed him

Anyway, one side bet on the villain -v- the rest & one on meno to beat TBL (sine I've already backed TBL in my main bet)

So our panto villain / exile / Dr Q has been in touch with an offer.

He is claiming to be carrying a niggle that will slow him down on the day. But on the other hand he has also said that should anyone bet on him and LOSE that he will match their losing bets and donate the same to the charity. So even if you lose - your donation / bet gets doubled and given to the charity too.

If anyone is interested in placing a bet on Dr Q to beat the boardsies now would be a really good time to do it !

You're going to have to translate MNLOP for me. Yabowsie is obvious but that one I'm not 100% on !

Some really generous donations placed over night.

Current total is €610.00 which is staggering. There are other possible donations to go onto this, (some people have said if they hit x time they will donate, ECOLIIs contributions, Dr Q matching bets if he loses etc) so at this stage I am starting to sweat a bit on this which was a throw away long shot a while ago :pac: ..........
