    What country star best decries your personality?

    I think I'm a bit of a mix between Merle Haggard, Charley Pride and Loretta Lynn (without the ladyparts)

    Would love to be Kris Kristofferson but he's way too awesome.

    And anyone who says they don't like country? Well, so's your face!!!

    Good, I don't know what it'd be like if my face liked country, but it sounds uncomfortable.

    Hank Williams ...drank himself to death in the back of a limo on some backroad to hicksville...

    Get your shotgun. Takes two shots. One for the dog and one for yourself.

    Not country but this song got stuck in my head. From 1999, made it to no.2 in the UK charts and was a load of poppycock!

    I'll convert you yet! Second one here is my funeral song, if you complain too much I'll stipulate in my will you have to sing it.:P

    See when somebody disses country, I don't even bother telling them every rockstar they hold dear has their roots in the strummers, I just hit them with this;

    Not gonna happen I'm afraid. I love ya Backwards Man, but it's just not my scene at all.

    Here, this is a song I really love, the lyrics really speak to me on a personal level. I hope you enjoy it. :)

    Do ya hear that?

    That's the sound of Shakespeare, Wilde, Dostoevsky and Hemingway turning in their graves.

    Here's more country(ish) lyrics from a neighbour of my own across the Foyle

    Well I do love Rammstein and eisbrecher and a few others it's like the language ties it all together

    Nope, felt like I was being blanded to death. Needs more something... anything!

    By the way, I am actually listening to all of these songs, 'cos I'm not one to just trash something without giving it a spin. It's just really not my thing, and I'm afraid you're just not gonna win me over, it's futile. In fact the closest thing you've posted to something I actually like was the Kenny Rodger song, but that's only because of the Big Lebowski association.
