I said to someone tonight that no doubt the Rocky franchise will be kept going after Stallone dies by his son, that was in Rocky V with him and we'll most likely see Rocky 27 or some sh1t down the line. Person replied: "He'll have hard job seeing as he's dead". I'm drunk here Wiki'ing it. Didn't believe a word of it. How'd I miss that.

Nah, was offered it but refused it for whatever reason but sure that was way back 2006 anyway (hard to believe, I know) whereas he died recently enough, in 2012.

Last night while Google'ing, the following seems to be the only time Stallone has spoke of it:

Oh, his actual son! I forgot he died. I thought you meant Rocky's son who did appear in Rocky Balboa played by Milo Ventimigli.

Exactly! It was shortened to www not because it's easier to say (which it isn't) but because it's easier to type

That when American recipes measure in cups, they don't mean actual cups.

They do. Its a volume measurement, not a weight measurement. For any recipe using cups the cup size is irrelevant as the proportions are what matter.

I hate Nutella. I hate Ferrero Rocher sweets. It's just been pointed out to me that FR contains Nutella. Never knew; at least it explains why I hate them.

This is embarrassing but I always looked at those small sweatbands you wear on your wrists and thought "How sweaty could your wrists get? What's the point?".

It was only when I was sweating buckets one day and raised my hand to wipe my forehead that I thought "wouldn't it be handy if you had some kind of thing on your wrist to- OH MY GOD".

    The shame.

You know the company, Adshel, who manage all the bus shelters in Dublin?

    Advertise + Shelter = Adshel.

    Only copped it this morning.

Whenever I used watch tv shows on BBC1/Channel 4 they always used mention what do the Great British public think of this/what do the Great British public think of that. I used think to myself the British are totally up themselves. We don't refer to the Irish public as the fantastic Irish public. It took me years to realise why they used the word great.
