    Hi all,

Just thought I would see if there is anybody in the Galway/Roscommon area interested in perhaps forming a pike angling club, association or group of some form. I fish around once a month on the Suck and sometimes try the Corrib and other small lakes around Moycullen. I notice that there is lots of good pike but no organisation. encourage respectful fishing by example, do some cleaning of river banks all that stuff as well as organising a few friendly competitions. It would be great to do something to help our shared environment as well as having a bit of craic.

    Hi,
Good idea. There are a few small clubs in those areas, There is one in Ballinasloe, Athleague, and Ballyforan. I have pike fished corrib a bit, but I don't know much about the clubs bases on it, although there are a few, I'd imagine there are mainly trout.
