Why can't they make it over? Are there no planes, trains or auto-mobiles allowed out on that night?

I for one am glad it's on a Monday night.

Work and college commitments they can't get out of. It's a problem for a lot of people when there's a midweek game. If it's against piss poor opposition you'd be able to sell the tickets and wouldn't lose too much sleep over it. Missing a game like this would hurt though even if the tickets are sold.

If they have work then they can book a day off. If they're in college then they can skip college. What else do they want? Just stop having midweek games?

    Yeah.....

    I'm kinda worried now.... :D

I've played against Castle Villa manys a time. One of the biggest in the league and one of a few who could have a GK coach.

That and i was lurking in the bushes

its a complete f8cking joke that this game is on a monday night, the show piece game of the weekend moved to a Monday due to TV. Cambridge moved to the Friday, Preston moved to the Monday and a heap of other games being moved now.

    complete and utter horse*it.

said it here last week about how poor the league was this season and that English teams would be shown up in Europe, well judging by last nights game looks like I was correct, Chelsea totally played off the park

you forgot to add, in the 2nd half, after going 1-0 up judging by your post I take it you didn't watch the 1st half ?

Midweek games are always cracking. Something so much more atmospheric about games under floodlights. Especially Arsenal United games

wait until the new 5 Billion tv deal kicks in, tv companies couldn't give a toss about the fans, neither could the clubs

The only difference is that Sky will have a few Friday night games. The Beeb etc. spout on about "the magic of the Cup" then spread all the games over several days just to fill out schedules.

It's kinda odd how games like this in the League are rarely scheduled for Monday nights yet when the FA Cup rolls around they are ok for a Monday night? I'm sure Arsenal fans are also thrilled to need to travel for an 8pm game on a Monday??

Second time this season this has happened to me due to work, they changed Southampton game and I couldn't get the next day off.... Still waiting on annual leave to be approved so I can head to this

Police have certain games categorised, United v Arsenal was one on their list.

Gooners not happy at all - no trains back to London.

Fergie and Keane on the same flight back from Paris. Poor Scholesy was stuck in the middle.

I couldn't care less if we played 10 Fellaini's and just had De Gea kick it to his afro. A win is a win! Unbeaten in 19, baby!

If the ball got stuck in his afro and he just walked into the goal, would that count or is it a foul?

I think that's when the #welldonefellaini breaks twitter, and bangkok catches fire.

It's the dream, in other words.
