MCSA: Windows Server 2012 E-learning options

    Hi All,

    I am considering doing the "MCSA: Windows Server 2012" course with ""New Horizons"" : http://www.nhireland.ie/localweb/ireland/mcsa-windows-server-2012.aspx

    Its about 550 per section with them , three sections, or 1250 roughly for the three combined. Are there cheaper alternatives with equal quality of delivery out there ?

    Has anyone used "New Horizons" , any feedback on them is welcome .

    Hi,

    I have used them before and to be honest your money would be better spent using trainsignal or cbt nuggets and buying vmware and setting up your own lab.

    I signed up for a MCSE 2008 course on evenings a few years ago and I was basically given their books and told, "you need to know whats in here but also do your own research on TechNet".

    Im sure you know you can get 180 day trials of Windows Server 2012 and vmware workstation is 230 euro. You will get the books for about 50. Have a look here aswell - http://www.techexams.net/forums/mcsa-mcse-windows-2012-general/106841-90-days-mcsa-challenge.html

    This guys notes are pretty good.

    Also take a look at the Microsoft Virtual Academy, good vids on 2012 and Powershell among others
