Waterson was obviously after a headline that would get a lot of clicks. Hysterical stuff. I'm waiting for the results of the medic tests.

Might O'Brien play for Leinster next week to get more game time?

A family member of mine broke two vertebrae before doing some work in the garden and going to hospital the next day. Can be funny things. With adrenaline pumping I'd think it's quite possible.

With Heaser out, there is no way Joe will risk allowing SOB or Murphy play.

Jack Conan your time is now!!

Would be Murphy I think. Conan is developing but his time against Wasps and the Saxons was telling with regard to how far he still has to go.

It just didn't look like he hit the spine though

Perhaps it has been discussed already but why isn't Fitz playing?

Hasn't been with the team at all. He was 24th man at the Aviva yesterday.

Willie John played out a match with a broken collar bone.

I fractured my kneecap in half last year and played on with it for 40 min or more. A lot of these things aren't noticed until you shower and sit down and the adrenaline wears off. I also broke a toe and played an entire game before I noticed.

However I imagine those are not in the same scale of a fractured vertebrae. But then we really don't know what happened to him.

If losing today wasn't bad enough.

Andy McGeady thinks the boys might not be available for next week.
Andy McGeady (@andymcgeady) tweeted at 5:49 PM on Sun, Feb 15, 2015:
Strauss, Reid, Denton enter RTP protocols today (Sun).

    Leinster play Fri.

Correct that they can’t play before same time next Sat? (6*24hr)

    Oh Lord....but this doesn't overly surprise me......what a season.

Thought we really missed Reid and Strauss. They were outstanding when on the field, particularly Reid who really made some great decisions and was carrying strongly.

So is that it now ? Everyone agreed? Blinkers dropped of any remaining give-the-guy-a-chance brigade ?
This MOC character has been given more than enough time and the slide into the abyss just gets faster.
The real question is where to turn to for a serious coach to give us some hope for next year.
I am tending ever more strongly towards giving Eddie O'Sullivan a go at the helm.

MOC didn't lose us the game today. And we've been playing very good since the Munster game. So I think the toys need to be kept in the pram.

MOC won't be going anywhere btw, nor should he.

How did your march down Stephen's green or whatever it was you were suggesting a while back go by the way?

Very well thanks. Thought I was on my own actually, but asked a few of the water protestors how you calculate these things. Turns out there were actually about 180,000 of us. So strong message sent. Really looking forward with optimism to next year now whoever the new coach is.

Does Boss' contract expire the end of this season? I see Stringer is being let go by Bath, we could do worse..

Could be very handy during the world cup and international windows. If he could teach Luke McGrath to pass well, it could be the making of Luke.

Please don't do that to us.

Sorry. Always liked Strings but this would be going the wrong direction. I wish him well though.

There's no pleasing some people! ;) I disagree, let's leave it at that.
