Hey lads, I have a bit of an odd request.

I'm currently using the sony gold headset and I find it pretty good. However, I'm looking for something better.

My problem is that the volume level it requires to hear things clearly is too loud when gunfire is going off.

What I'm wondering is if there is a headset out there that would have a better depth and quality of sound in it, so I can hear things well in game without having to have the volume up very high.

You can change the balance of game/chat audio.
Have you tried disabling and enabling VSS
Have you gotten the headset app to allow you make game specific changes?
