Lads, be careful with those small 1mm cutting discs. Had one break again today. You really have to cut dead square with them and if any metal pinches on them, forget about it.
I worked with experienced fitters and they were almost terrified of grinders. Seen too many close shaves over the years.

Some lads have zero cop on when it comes to grinders . I saw a lad during the week using one of the thin grinder disks cleaning a girder , it must have been bent an inch off centre the way he was lying on it . " great discs them " he said !

We had a safety audit during the week and your man told me that the fella he called to before us was plastering a small gable . He had 20' planks across two bandstands with two barrells ontop of that with 12' planks on them and the old milk crate ontop of that to get the peak  . Told him he was 46 years in the buildings without an accident !

They WERE good, but they must have changed the quality of the material going into them in the last while.

Use grinders a good bit in work, big difference in cheap discs and good ones. For the sake of a euro or two. I've had the cheap ones break during use and hit me in the face and arms
