Do you listen to music in other languages?

Rammstein, Equilibrium (German), Korpiklaani, Kotiteollisuus, Stam1na (all Finnish), some of Tyr's stuff (Faroese/old Norse), Dir en Grey (Japanese)...

Maybe just a bit of Rammstein or Sigur Ros as well. Some of our own recent singers and bands, such as The Coronas, Bell X1, Gemma Hayes, Damien Dempsey, and The Frames, have done pretty good versions of their songs in our native tongue.

The new album is just incredible, seriously seriously amazing music, and Kyo's vocals are just... wow. There's very few bands that seem to keep on getting better and better through their careers, and Dir en Grey is one of them.

Stromae and Arsenik in French, Rammstein, Deichkind, Wolfsheim and other miscellaneous German and lots of miscellaneous Dutch. Stromae is an absolute favourite. Oh, and Sigur Ros of course!!

I do, constantly. I'd say most people would probably guess I'm a Rammstein fan from my username, I listen to them and some similar German bands. There's quite a few Scandinavian bands I listen to, Korpiklaani for example sing in Finnish. Or I dunno if anyone's noticed about here, I listen to a bit of Japanese metal :pac: Just a wee bit.

I think it makes it better! Was explaining the lyrics of Rein Raus to a colleague the other day and he couldn't get over it. And that particular one is fairly tame when compared with others!
