Talking of L'Arc en Ciel on the Japanese thread has gotten me listening to Vamps again

It's a day for Dir en Grey

This was the song that introduced me to DT, it was on some Metal Hammer CD I think

I even liked Projector



It might've been a departure for them, and nothing quite as amazing as The Gallery, but it seriously had it's moments. I think I lost track of them after Damage Done though. Loads of bands I used to listen to I've not kept up with

I know what you mean about his voice, for the clean vocals it's like he's pushing his voice lower than it would normally sit and it has this nasal quality to it, that's probably a terrible description but it sounds gorgeous. What are the later albums like? Did he do any more clean vocals?

Also, that song was class, love it when metal bands try something different.
