Presumably the same crew will be back overhead in a couple of hours bringing-home LN-RNU that went there last week.

Wouldn't have thought so, runway is meant to close at some stage for spraying though, that may cause delays for a short while.

Heading up through Scotland is Global 6000 N170SW of WalMart.

Funny how Tesco is dragged over the coals for having a corporate fleet, but ASDA execs can ride on the parent's jets without media comment...

Didn't think it was meant to be that bad out.

No-one did. Very windy here all day in clare.

Dub has the highest wind out of Shannon and cork, so I assume that was the cause?

A rare night of 34 being used !

Looking at the weather forecast, there are strong northerly winds due over the weekend. I wonder will 34 get used at times.

EI3843 landing with a northerly heading, yet FR24 (And met eireann) is telling me cork has a south westerly wind...... Has the wind changed to westerly to warrant the change of approach?

    Any information on the airport?

A nice whack of snow also about to hit EDI, how does that airport cope with the sneachta?

No info, I am a bit too far away from the airport to listen with a scanner

They should all land tonight as there are no more takeoffs from Glasgow (last one was about an hour ago to Dublin) and they should just line them up before the next batch of snow arrives. The airport needs to be busy overnight as showers are streaming through all night, there will be a glut of takeoffs in the morning rush hour (or 2)

Poor passengers, this delta plane decided to land in Blanchards town! That's a nice walk to the terminal.

If snow is forecast, why the hell can't airports salt/prepare the runway and clear the snow and ice in advance?
