    im dropping greek and roman next year but im most likely gonna fail my roman module..will i have to repeat it in autumn to go into second year?

    Depends how much you fail by and your other results. There are ways of passing by compensation.

    Not necessarily independently; you could pass by compensation but this varies from course to course. Best to check your department handbook.
