He really is obnoxious and cares only about money which is fair enough. Classless. Other ways to drum up interest without being an absolute co*k. I really look forward to the day he gets knocked out, want to see what his reaction will be then, won't be all up in the face of the opponent.

Posts like this amuse me, can you not just enjoy him for his entertainment value. Who cares if he's "classless"? Did he personally insult you?

Trash talk? Nah. If I wanted to see trash talk I'd just watch The Big Show or someone. It's called Ultimate Fighting Championship, not Ultimate Trashtalk Championship.

Mcgregor up to this point has been put in the ring with people happy to just take the cheque. The fight in Ireland was embarassingly bad. Brazilian guy just sat down and the fight was over.

Conor bordering on a fine racism line there in his post match interview.

what by running at another fighter and shoving what seemed to be a woman and a child out of the way in the process. No mate Andy Lee, Carl Frampton, Manny Pacquiao, GSP, Aldo show class the likes of Mayweather, Jones and McGregor don't.
Classless from McGregor frankly the only reason i'd want him to win is because he's Irish but tbh if Aldo sparks him i won't be devastated certainly not a man with the class of Andy Lee for example.

Maybe if Andy Lee had a little less class people would know who he was.

Conor's Girlfriend standing up for her man :pac: Aldo loving it!

just so everybody knows the little girl is conors niece. his girlfriend is there and his dad is behind the big guy holding him back. all banter to them. the gf is probably a bit pissed he wants to hug aldo before her but apart from that don't get the guy on the other page starting the bull**** about him pushing a woman and a child. don't let the truth get in the way of a good story. Kinda ironic when you're giving out about conor's lack of "class".

A top class performance from McGregor, again. Some beautiful striking and movement. When Siver went down from that left hand it looked like he just threw in the towel, he'd had enough at that point, so he just turtled up and hoped for it to end quickly. That's what McGregor does, he breaks people, mentally and physically.

Aldo though is a massive step up for him, a different kettle of fish altogether. By fcuk I cannot wait for that fight.

I had to watch this fight this morning and id prefer to discuss the fight, never mind the other crap. I noticed siver got the leg from under conor who recovered straight away but maybe that's teling to aldo who's a fiend for that kinda thing. I agree with some other poster in that loads of wingers have fought and lost to Aldo so WTF!! put someone who has a different style and mind set in the chair, why the hell not!!! it should be a great fight looking at both stand up styles and they have that hop, skip and jump attack style too, maybe some great mid air collisions!! either way, if it take a 9 yr champ to shut conor up then where's the shame in that??? the alternative is he wins!!!!

IN terms of his behaviour, he's young and I put lots of that down to adrenalin too. I cant stand the McGregor persona, but I realy enjoy and admire the fighter in him and his skill is superb.. after all I hated ali's persona too but loved watching him box.

    So who won?.....

So are the chances of a title fight in Ireland grim? Couldn't stay up for this one with work this morning sadly.

Aldo vs. McGregor will absolutely smash PPV records, calling it now.

145 record yes, or the record if the newer divisions 125-145.
But overall record, not a hope.

Aldo v McGregor - this is gonna be huge. Haven't ever paid for a PPV before but will defo stay up for this whenever\wherever its at. Aldo will surely be favourite but as the promotion (hype) builds I'd say the odds for Conor will pull in...

Won a nice few bob on last nights few fights

    Holohan
    Rosa
    Pendred
    Hall
    Tibau
    McGregor by KO\TKO

Go on Grigor. That was like a bull fight when the picador softens the bull up early then rd2 they buzz off the bullfighter takes over and goes in for the finish after toying around for a while.

What was the deal with the Pendred fight? Looks like the are trying to create hype.

Delighted for Conor and all his fans, he is the real deal. Anyone got a link to the whole fight?

    Odds are out. Aldo's favourite
McGregor open at 7/3, 6/5 elsewhere.

I can't see him getting shorter.

Pendred should buy a lotto ticket after getting that result, was scandalous! I don't rate him very highly (as most dont) but 3-0 is a good result so fair play to him, can never seem him getting even close to the top of that divison so I would say his best bet is to get 3 or 4 more fights and earn as much as he can then probably go into coaching or something similar. Bit early but anyone have any quotes for the cost of the trip? Would love to go!

Got up early to acquire and watch this. Great performance. Skipped through the Holohan, Pendred and Parke fights quickly to see what happened as I figured it would be spoilered before I got home this evening.

Too easy, he was just way too fast and clever for Siver who looked sluggish. What impressed me most was his takedown defence, his ability to get up from his back and the way he didn't rush the finish unnecessarily. The knock down looked like Siver had just given up though.

    WAR PADDY!!!!

Delighted for him. Didn't get the finish but dominated and frankly his opponent was tough as nails to have survived that.

Pendred: I must be one of the only people who thought he shaded it! I will admit I was thinking it would be a split decision or at best a 29/28 but I didn't see anything from his opponent that would say he deserved the win, sure the punches he connected with were powerful and they nearly got him the KO but they still only count for one punch if they don't :)

That said... WOW is Pendreds standup bad. I'd say *my* stand up is better than that! I thought at one stage maybe he was trolling he was telegraphing it so much. It was shockingly bad. His kicks aren't TOO awful but his hands are just.... wtf? It was like some kind of popeye cartoon windup. Rogan said it best, I think it actually put his opponent off because he thought it MUST be a fake punch, no one could telegraph a real punch like that. Christ!
Oh and someone should tell him that batting at your opponent like a schoolgirl is not considered proper defense. :)

McGregor. Very smooth and calm, looked completely happy in the cage and never seriously looked in doubt. Each of his opponents have looked to counter his trademark unusual style... and that's been their problem. Edgar, Mendes and Aldo wont do that. They'll go in and fight their own fight and let Conor worry about them. There is no doubting McGregor is a top level fighter. Now we get to see how he does against another top-notch fighter in Aldo. My only prediction is that Aldo wont let Conor enforce his style of fighting the way he has be allowed to with his other opponents to date.
McGregors takedown defense, as mentioned above, was very good tonight and that's promising for a guy who is clearly something special on his feet.

They should screen the fight in the Three Arena and charge a fiver or something in.
