4 people living in a rented house in Dublin. We got in a UPC broadband set up and have no issues on our laptops. But on our phones none of us can access apps aside from our phones browser? Any thoughts? Same apps work fine on different WiFi connection

Is it *every* app or do some work?

Only thing I can think of is DSLite. Unless the landlord may have changed things?

To test you could grab NMAP http://nmap.org/ on a laptop and scan the scanme.nmap.org server, that'll show if ports are being bocked.

Some apps work. but mostly they dont. for example on my phone all i can think of that worked were Chrome and Whatsapp (albeit messages would come in bursts after a period of time, not the time they were sent). everything else fails to load, google play, gmail, facebook, messenger and any games i had that required a connection. fine elsewhere and ive had two phones in this house with the same issue samsung galaxy s4 mini and now nexus.

Go into phone wifi settings and select 'forget network' then set up the wifi setting again. Have you tried to reboot the router?
