United are 17th in the league in terms of chances created, just mentioned in the press conference.

That can't be right can it ?

For a team 4th in the league

shows how bad the league actually is ?

Or how good United's strikers are.

I absolutely hate those sweeping statements about a league's quality.

Yeah I'd imagine Utd have a very high goals to chances created ratio.

Statement is a statement, nothing sweeping about it.

And then consider that for example united missed 3 great chances v Southampton last week, missed loads of chances v Spurs etc.

Although v Liverpool, they had more chances but united still win 3-0

This. Everyone says how the teams below us are "so bad" that they haven't passed us out yet. I actually think it says more about the leagues quality. Lower/mid table teams have improved alot. Nobody is guaranteed a win anymore in the PL. Everyone can pretty much beat everyone on their day. Who'd have thought Southampton would be serious top 4 contenders after the summer?

    Love LVG's press conferences.
Gets properly wound up by journalists.

"Do you think the relegation battle will be unpredictable for QPR?"

Laughs......"I'm not busy or concerned about that. I only look up, not down"

Reminds me of this last year. What a man!

You mean the quality of finishing in particular ?

Or maybe about 4th place in particular ?:)

    Forget about the EPL.

Even if we were talking about your local U16 district league. You'd expect a stronger correlation between chances created and league position ?

To be way out of line with that, you must be extremely clinical, or not , as the case may be

I think we have the least amount of goal attempts in the last four games

As good a contribution to the thread as Valencia in a football match

He should have been shipped out years ago. A dreadful player.

We're playing two no 10s in midfield and we're playing Di Maria upfront where he has no real chance of influencing the overall play. This bullsh1t has to stop.

LvG can f*ck off with this formation, it's absolute sh*t.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,182 ✭✭✭KH25

This crap has to end. This system is like something a 4 year old would do on fifa trying to cram everyone into 1 team and getting di Maria to take all the shots.

Can see us having another new manager next season.

Phil Jones is going to take a corner.

I am very concerned by Van Gaal. We have the players and he is making sh!te of the team.

How can he not see that this formation will not work.

Baffling is not even close to being a strong enough word to describe LVG's decisions.

Been getting worse since Spurs game. Can't keep bull****ting players playing them in wrong positions, taking off same players in every game. Players will eventually have enough it and that will be the end of Van Gaal.

    Philosophy my hole.

    -Rooney in CM

    -Di Maria up front

    -Phil Jones taking corners

-Struggling away at relegation bound QPR

Lads, am I tripping balls here? And what in the actual fúck does Herrera have to do to get a game? Forget that actually, he'd probably be played up front too.
