Is the live stuff the same the world around just the times and in our case no main event ? I mean prime time wrestling is on now. Are the us and ireland seeing the same things ?

    Yep.

In the new Wrestling Observer he says that there was initially a plan for a separate UK/Ireland stream but that idea was shelved due to their financial position.

Will it still air on Sky ?

It's not shown anywhere in the US if I'm not mistaken.

Speaking of the network I've just finished watching the rivalries doc on the Hardys and edge and christian. Maybe it's because I was younger and was amazed at the crazy stuff they were doing, but looking back they really did some stuff that had it gone slightly different could have been badly hurt.

I'm just watching the Fall of WCW episode of the Monday Night Wars. This ****ing series is so weird. Five minutes in and they are telling me how the product is stale and Vince Russo is pitching ideas to Vince McMahon to turn it around. I have seen this 18 ****ing times.

Why didn't they just tell the story linearly? Was it that complicated?

There are worthwhile moments in a lot of the episodes. But you have to wade through so much garbage.

signed up to the network, really good quality, safe to say I won't be paying $ky anymore for Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania or Summer Slam!

One of the big advantages for me is being able to watch a PPV the next day, in HD, on my phone, without pricking around with bloody torrents :P

There's so much to choose from, I don't know where to start.

I started by watching things I'd never watched at the time. WCW stuff mainly as I'd never watched it back in the day. Started around the mid 90s when Hogan and co started to come over. The beginnings of the wars. Then there's the NXT PPVs if you haven't seen them.

true, I only ordered the big 3 due to how expensive ordering ppvs are!

The commentary used to be on another level.

Even the little things like during the HHH/Cactus Jack HIAC match at No Way Out....

King: (About Stephanie) "C'mon Hunter, you don't want to let her down! She's beautiful, isn't she, JR?"

    JR: "Physically, she is."

Well there's technically the big four ppvs but I've watched stuff I missed back in the day and stuff I had taped originally but have lost or broken the tape over the years. I remember watching nitro on the old black box.

Hit lots of buffering issues on the Xbox 360 the other night so gave up trying to watch it. Strange as it worked fine the previous night.

I can't find the app for 360, do you need to be on Gold?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,645 ✭✭✭RollieFingers

It really is worth the price alone just for access to the back catalogue! Watched the rumbles from 89,90,93 and 95 so far, how HBK didn't get eliminated in 95 I'll never know, he must have been guerilla pressed about 10 times but they all just dropped him :o

It's working a charm on my laptop and ipod, highly recommended!

I take it that everyone is watching old Rumble shows in anticipation for next week?

Watched 2000 last night, might see 01, 05 and 07 today.

Watching wrestlemania X and it just shows how far Jerry lawyer has changed on commentary. He sounded interested compared to how he sounded until they changed him to smackdown.
