I am thinking of getting a Civil Partnership in the UK with a Filipino visa required national. The rules regarding family reunification have changed and the sponsor is required to have 40K earnings over 3 years.I do not meet the financial requirements. In the past you could apply for residence if the person was in the country at the GNIB. The fact that they did not have a visa to enter Ireland was disregarded if you had a civil partnership cert. Does anyone have a similar experience with this new policy that has been in operation since Jan 2104.

Moved from After Hours to Weddings, Marriage & Civil Partnership

OP please familiarise yourself with the relevant charter

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test
