I'd let Fletcher go to West Brom in a heartbeat. As great as it is that he's back playing football with his illness he's finished at the top level.

Same. There was an inquiry from Burnley only about a week or two ago as well about the feasibility of letting him go on loan.

I'd rather see him playing then sitting on our bench. Hopefully the club provide him that honesty and let him make a clear choice.

Wonder if we put a buyback clause in that deal with Juventus.

There was never questions about his talent, it was all down to his rubbish attitude. Maybe now that he is a bit older and wiser, he realises he was being nurtured and gently exposed to the first team.

I've long maintained the brash stance of that Fergie was right as the player had a horrendous attitude at the time and was being led easily by his agent. But I'd be lying if I said I havn't been utterly frustrated the last 18 months seeing how he has developed.

Would be incredible if we had a cheeky buyback clause in there :D

Think Fergie really should have managed him better. United under Moyes would have been a whole lot better had Pogba stayed with them.

    He was talking about Henriquez.
You can't put a buy back clause in someones contract when they don't have a contract with you, Like Pogba.

This rubbish attitude thing about Pogba is so bogus. He showed superb drive and determination, and proved himself utterly, utterly correct by becoming one of the most impressive midfielders in Europe in about half a season.

It's not his fault Ferguson couldn't tell a midfielder from the arse end of a llama.

Yes you can... We had one for Rossi when he went to Villarreal.

More so in the agreement of the transfer not the agreement of the contract.

Not the case with Pogba, as he left as a free agent.

We sold Rossi to them. Pogbas contract had ran out and he decided to sign for Juventus, so you can't negotiate a buy back clause into a deal you have no part In.

My bad thought the comment relating to a 1m sale was in relation to Pogba.

Aggh no point even talking about it, 60-80 million for a player that left go for free.

Say Pogba had come up through the ranks somewhere else would you be ok signing him for 60-80 million?

I'd let Januzaj join Moyes at Sociedad on loan,he was one of the few bright things last season at United and seemed to do well under Moyes.

Speaking of loans,I read earlier that Villa are hoping to drag out Cleverley's loan in order to get him on a free when his contract runs out at United-cheap bastards.

If I wanted to watch someone pass it wide 20 times a game I'd watch the senior team :p

Sociedad have to want him first, can't just say we'll send him there. Would be a great spot for him to go though.
If you don't want to sell Cleverley for free you can always... bring him back...!

Its always nice when you have players come through ranks.

its saves money on huge fees etc..

love to see us have more come through youth setups.

I can't wait to see some of them become the Great White Hope at United for six months before becoming pariahs on the receiving end of a torrent of Twitter abuse.

Well I guess if he's doing it 20 times in a game, someone is telling him to do it (just like in the first time :) )
Plenty to work on but his tackling and confidence on the ball, not to mention his size, is impressive for his age

Surely he has all the attributes of an amazing box to box midfielder? Quick feet and a strike like his are generally enough to bag 10+ goals a season too
afaik both their natural positions are at CB.

This LVG "philosophy" - is he (LVG) the only one who gets it?
I'm beginning to think he's a serious bluffer.

Having the same thoughts myself. Been poor to watch most of the season and no signs of change. Leaving Falcao out at the weekend was lunacy.

10 games unbeaten, we lose 1 game to a very good Southampton team who denied Chelsea and Arseanal points as well and all of a sudden Van Gaal is the new Moyes.

It's not sudden, plenty of people have had misgivings for a while.

    Pogba isn't wroth 60 to 80 million.

I can see him coming back. Isn't he on relatively fúck all at Juventus as well? Something like 25000 a week? We could multiply that by whatever number he wants.

However, he isn't worth more than 40 million.

Look at the actual prformances though.

We ahve been very poor in a lot of games and very lucky to come away with the win (or draw). Arsenal and Liverpool should both have scored 3 or 4 goals with the chances they created, for example.

Read yesterday he is on 125k per week. Signed a new deal in the summer IIRC. That 125 figure might be the after tax value too.

From watching that video he has tidy control of the ball. Looked well suited to midfield in that way. Very exciting. Unless the guy who made the video neglected to include any poor touch he made.

I've seen through it all year. Still hope he turns it around though.

The team isn't good enough. Look at the shambolic defense and how many points it's cost us this season made even worse by the injuries.

We had a poor start to the season which was to be expected but results and performances were very good before the busy Christmas period.

We're still going to finish top 4 this season which is the target.

Give the man time to finish building his own squad.
