    DIVISION 4 FIXTURES

    Key Match: TSV Alling Allstars v Flash Lightning

    The opening match of the new season sees two teams who were kicking off their Division 3 campaigns this time last season come head to head. After an unfavourable campaign both Flash Lightning and TSV Alling Allstars return to the grind of Division 4 rugby. There is no doubt both managers will be looking to begin the season on a high note and the clash at the Allinganz Arena gives both managers ample opportunity to do so. This match is a repeat of last season's Round 4 fixture which saw Flash emerge victorious on a scoreline of 33-21. The addition of former Maddogs scrumhalf Luke Herron and Ulysses Riders' Nohoarii Ropati will have bolstered jj1's for the season ahead, if perhaps somewhat offset by the loss of man of the match in this corresponding fixture last season Gerald Newsome. In contrast, TSV have been rocked by the departures of Benny Petty, Blodyn Harris and Chase Findley - the 21 year old in particular looking impressive prior to his departure from the Allstars including a hat-trick of tries on his final appearance for the club. Daheff will be looking to his older stalwarts to secure results and in addition to some promising younger members of the squad he could yet see his side walking away with top honours come season end.

    In this match we see 2 of the beaten teams from round 1 come face to face. The maniacs will be angry with their performance against Dromintee losing 38-14 and will be looking to bounce bounce back while the Allstars will be fuming with how close they came to beating Flash Lightning. TSV have the CSR advantage but will the home game advantage be able to swing the result in their favour? All i know is that this game is going to be a cracker.

    Well the big surprise was i also beat ELAT id stopped watching that game after 20 mins as it was all him and i was 15-7 down should of been more tbh

    Only game not accepted in round 1 was The Jacks vs Couch Potatoes. As there were delays in putting up these fixtures if these teams can arrange an anytime friendly (or let me know an agreeable monday and i'll enter a friendly into BR) then there should be no penalty applied to The Jacks.

    this is only because of delay in round 1 fixtures...any other non acceptance is the usual 5 try 20-0 defeat.
